Anyone who wishes to learn more about business management and wants to have a mechanism to implement their new learning to produce results should complete this program. It is suitable for people wishing to start a business, and for business owners wishing to improve their existing business.

What does it cost?
The Business Development Program investment is extremely competitive. Interest free student loans are available.
How long does it take?
You will undertake 6 projects aver 6 months. You will be expected to commit 2 hours a week to the program.

What are the risks?
You are guaranteed to learn new management techniques that will aid you in any employment you undertake in the future, whilst using best practice TOOLS to develop a business.
What will I achieve?
You will start by analyzing your current position to define a starting point, the finishing line, and what is required to get there. You will then learn and work to put in place the building blocks for a successful business.
Do I have to give up my day job?
No, whether you already own a business, have a small venture you want to develop, or wish to start your business whilst continuing to work in your current position, the business development program is flexible and will work around you.
Do I have to attend classroom sessions?
No, you will be assigned a personal mentor who has a successful background of business ownership and management. You mentor will provide guidance and help you understand management best practice theory, whilst helping translate the theory into practical, on the ground, management goals and tasks to help build your business.
What tools and resources will I receive?
To aid the advice you will get from regular one on one session with your mentor, you will get access to the ZAP (online management action planner and resource centre). ZAP provides practical advice, templates, and articles on Management best practice. It is targeted at NZ Business Owners to allow them to access the management advice and tools they require, when and where they need them.
